March 22nd
Deborah Jan Peppones passed away peacefully in her home on March 16, 2013. She was surrounded by the loving embrace of her family as she took her last breath.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David Hallenius; her two children, Alex (Mandy) Hallenius of Seattle, and Ian (Amy) Hallenius of Ennis, Mont.; and grandchildren, Ellie and Owen Hallenius. She also leaves behind three sisters, Martha Peppones, Sandy (Al) Freutal, and Daphne (Eric) Beck.
Preceding her in departing this life were her parents, Demetrius and Ulah Peppones.
March 19th
Lyle R. Wells, age 88, passed into eternity on March 18, 2013, after a short illness.
Lyle was a full-time farmer in the Deer Park/Clayton area since 1950. Lyle enjoyed the last three years of retirement at Evergreen Fountains in the Spokane Valley.
Lyle loved to hunt, fish and travel. One favorite pastime was huckleberrying.
Lyle is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ida; two sons, Terry, of Vancouver, Wash., and Jay, of Seattle; a cousin, James Hollandsworth; and several nieces and nephews.

Connie Davis passed away at the age of 58 on Monday, March 4, 2013 in Spokane after a valiant two-and-a-half-year fight with breast cancer.
Connie was a vivacious woman known for her good nature, keen sense of humor and sharp wit and was always ready with a quick joke or a friendly, sparkly-eyed insult followed by her trademark grin and chuckle. Throughout her courageous battle, she remained positive and inspired those around her.
March 1st
Shirley Ray (Viles) Agar, 86, passed away at her home in Colville on Jan. 27, 2013.
Shirley is survived by her four children, Debbie (Max) Egger of Colville, Bruce (Mary) Agar of Thermopolis, Wy., Matt (Debbie) Agar of Ontario, Ore., and Muriel Badgley of Spokane. Shirley is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17-plus great-grandchildren, one sister, Nancy Sanders, and numerous nieces and nephews.
