Lois M. (Conboy) Thompson was born on Aug. 29, 1924, to Francis and Carrie Conboy in Lisbon, N.D. The family moved to Spokane when she was four years old.
Lois graduated from North Central High School and worked at Fairchild Air Force Base during and after World War II.
She married Lloyd J. Thompson in 1952. They owned a dairy farm near Deer Park and raised their family there, and she worked for the Soil Conservation Service for years.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her mother and father; and three brothers, Ray, Ellis, and Dale Conboy.
With broken hearts and joy we said goodbye to Sandy Kay (Smith) Wolfe on May 4, 2013. After suffering almost three years with ALS, she was peacefully set free into Jesus’ arms. We are sad, but glad for her to be whole, healed & happy again, dancing with her daddy in Heaven!
Sandy was born in Shore Acres, Wash., (near Everett) on Feb. 4, 1945 to Hazel Ella (Holland) and Wesley Sylvester Smith of Index, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Wesley (Ron) and Steven Smith.
Donald Eugene Goodburn, 53, a resident and formerly of Ellensburg, Wash., and Garfield, Wash., passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Spokane.
John William Wagner was born in Spokane on April 20, 1921. He grew up on his family farm at Post Falls, Idaho, where he helped with the farming and chores until he was drafted into the Army in 1942. He was stationed in Italy, Germany, Africa and France, which was his favorite country because of the wonderful vineyards.
After the war, John owned a small restaurant in Hillyard, where he met Lillian Wageman when she had car trouble and needed to use his phone. They married and had three sons, Tom, Tony and Randy.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Frank Millhorn, age 77.
He was born in Odessa, Wash., on Jan. 22, 1936, to Charley and Hilda (Haase) Millhorn and passed from this life early in the morning on April 28, 2013.
Barbara Reine Corenevsky, 85, a resident of Deer Park, formerly of San Francisco, passed away on March 13, 2013, in Deer Park.
Barbara is the loving mother of Cathlene Babbick of Deer Park. Her grandson, James Laurin Jr., resides in Germany. Barbara also enjoyed four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alec, in 1988; her parents, Albert and Marion Elkington; and her sister, Eleanor West.

Lucille Schulz, age 95, a longtime resident of Elk, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2013, in Spokane.
Born on March 10, 1918, in Colerain, Minn., she was the daughter of Walter and Flossie Gray and was the youngest of three children. She had two brothers, Lester and Gordon Gray.
Lucille married Harvey Little in 1940 and lived in Spokane, where they had two children: Danny (Karen) of Newport, and Carol (Daniel) of Elk.
Anna Barbara Cecrle Kynett, 100, a longtime resident of Deer Park, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 1913.
She is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Dick and Kat Kynett of Mead and Janelle and Carl Justice of Deer Park. Anna has seven grandchildren and more than 30 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kynett met her future husband, G. Vern Kynett, when they were in grade school. They were married in 1936. Mr. Kynett passed away in 1992.
Walter Edward Reiter, 93, a longtime Deer Park resident, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013.
He was the dear husband of Ruth Reiter and Walter’s brothers are Terry Reiter of Caldwell, Idaho, Gordon Reiter of Vancouver, Wash., and Tom Reiter of Tacoma, Wash.
Born in 1919 to Louis Albert Reiter and Edith Amelia Peterson Reiter at Deer Park, Walt attended Deer Park Grade School and graduated from Deer Park High School with the Class of 1936.
Karen Diane Doll, 67, a resident of Diamond Lake (near Newport), passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Spokane.
Karen is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Gene, Job, Justin, Corrine and Steve Rogers and Bobbi Jo and William Owens. Her stepchildren are Mike, Donald, Bill and Jennifer Bingle and Barbara and Mark VanWinkle. Karen’s brother and sisters are Joe (Juanita) Baker, Della (Mel) Southern and Sharon Houghtlind and her life partner John Wing. She enjoyed 20 grandchildren and seven and one-half great-grandchildren.
