Irene Mary Wohrle was born on Feb. 18, 1923, to Mary Elizabeth and Thomas Triplett in Turner, Blaine County, Mont. Surrounded by her family, she went to her Heavenly home on Dec. 10, 2012.
When Irene was a child, she lived in Montana, Colorado, and Washington State, settling in Spokane before moving to Deer Park around 1935.
She graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1941 and married Howard J. Wohrle on December 13, 1941. They enjoyed 63 years together. Irene continued to live in the home she and Howard built 70 years ago on part of the former Arcadia Apple Orchard.
Lester “Jean” Mize peacefully passed away on Dec. 20 2012, at Royal Park Care Center at the age of 82. He was born in Moscow, Idaho, on Oct. 27 1930.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester C. and Marie Mize, and a granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Whitehill.
