Mary Walker plans nighttime grad ceremony

April 22, 2014

Due to the conflict with the spring sports state competition schedule (baseball, softball and track) on May 31, the Mary Walker School Board has moved that day’s graduation ceremony to 9 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Having the graduation ceremony later in the evening allows those athletes who may become eligible for state competition to compete and then participate in the graduation ceremony. The board decision was made after meeting with the parents of the graduating class.
