Barn construction underway at Clayton Fairgrounds

April 1, 2014

Work on the long awaited goat barn has started at the Clayton Fairgrounds.
During the fair’s annual livestock auction two years ago, Willow Jones donated a meat goat as a fund-raiser for a needed goat barn. Rosemary Jones, along with her mother, children, Gail Kersey and Roberta Fuge spent that summer collecting donations and selling raffle tickets for a quilt (created by Sandi Stillman) with all the proceeds going to the goat barn.
