March 18, 2014

The Riverside soccer team, unleashing a dominating attack, handled the Deer Park Stags 4-0 on Monday in the season opener for both schools.
The Rams, who out shot the Stags 11-6, jumped out to an early lead on a penalty kick by Oliver Robstad at the 24-minute mark. They increased the lead to 2-0 before halftime on a goal Robyn.
The Rams added goals by Brandon Suhr and Tillman Spindeidrier in the second half while their defense, anchored by goalkeeper Wyatt Hagehann kept the Stag attack bottled up in their own end.
