DNR lifts statewide burn ban

September 18, 2013

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced that the statewide burn ban on DNR-protected lands has been rescinded. The fire danger has been reduced because of recent rainfall and moderating temperatures.
Restrictions set by local authorities are not affected by DNR’s action. Potential burners and the public at large are reminded to check with those local authorities before burning.
