Dale graduated from Walla Walla College with a Master’s of Education. After living in Spokane and College Place, Wash., he spent many years in the Portland area and worked at the Portland Adventist Medical Center. In 2003, Dale and Norma retired and moved to Deer Park.
Spokane County Superior Court Judge Greg Sypolt, who issued a no-contact order between convicted Deer Park murderer Clay Starbuck and his three minor children until they become legal adults, upheld his ruling last week.
Sypolt made the original ruling on July 18 when he sentenced Starbuck to life in prison without parole for the Dec. 11 murder of his ex-wife, Chanin, in her Deer Park home.
Starbuck’s attorneys claim that the defendant subjected his children to no psychological or physical harm while he was a parent, according to KREM-TV.
