A Chattaroy couple were killed following a mobile home explosion and fire on Wednesday evening.
Investigators continue to center their investigation on the fire being deliberately set as part of a domestic dispute.
Mike Asselin, 51, who passed away on Friday, and his wife, Sheila, had been separated for the past couple of months. Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that Asselin had disconnected one of the mobile home gas tanks and then set a match to the escaping gas.
A memorial service will be at noon on Saturday, July 20, at the Deer Park Zion Lutheran Church, E218 Crawford, followed by a potluck, for Charles L. Scott, 71.
Mr. Scott was born in Fort Lewis, Wash., to Clyde and Charlotte Scott on June 29, 1941. He passed away on May 5, 2013.
He attended Rogers High School and after graduation joined the Navy. Upon returning from his service in the Navy, He obtained a position with the Western Fruit Express Railroad where he worked for 27 Â½ years.
