Human remains found at Elk grave site

November 14, 2013

Spokane Major Crimes detectives are excavating property on Walters Road in Elk, believed to be the gravesite of Ramona Childress, who went missing last November.
Detectives were directed to the site by a witness who told investigators last month that he helped Jason Flett bury her body on the property after Flett killed her.
Jason Flett, 27, who was Childress’ boyfriend, was arrested on Nov. 13 and charged with second-degree murder. He is expected to make his first court appearance relating to the Childress killing on Nov. 15.

November 14, 2013

A funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2013, at Deer Park High School for Deer Park resident James Bryan Sibley, 16, who passed on Nov. 10 in Deer Park.
Born Oct.1, 1997, in Fairbanks, Alaska, he was the son of James and Jacqueline Sibley.
He was a young man full of love. His hobby was sharing this love with those around him. James did this many ways.
He enjoyed art and music, whether he was drawing pictures for his peers at DPHS; or singing along with his favorite song, he was doing it as a way to share his love with those around him.
