Scotties hold off Rams to win NE-A wrestling title

January 30, 2013

The Riverside wrestling team won most of the battles on Tuesday but lost the war.
The Rams won six of the nine contested matches against Freeman but could not overcome the five forfeits they were force to concede. The Scotties used those 30 “free” points to defeat the Rams 42-31.
The regular season finale for both teams left the Scotties at the only undefeated Northeast A League program this winter.
