Otto D. Hartman, 84

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 29 at the Spokane Central Seventh-day Adventist Church for former Deer Park City Councilman Otto D. Hartman, 84, who passed away on March 23, 2012, in Davenport.
Born on April 19, 1927, in Trenton, N.J. to Richard and Katherin Hartman, he served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was deployed to Tinian Island and then to The Philippines.
He was a pilot and his passion for flying remained until the end. He owned and operated "Otto's Aircraft Painting" in Deer Park for several years before retiring to Seven Bays.

Barbara L. Cribbs, 81

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on March 29 at Clayton Community Church for Clayton resident Barbara L. Cribbs, 81, who passed away March 22, 2012, in Spokane.
She is survived by her husband, James Cribbs at the home; three daughters, ,Julie (Mark) Bartley of Scottsdale, Ariz., Janet (Henry) Valenzuela of Clayton and Suzie (Mike) Day of Wasilla, Alaska; eight grandchildren, Lisa Contreras, Jessica Landstrom, Andrew Valenzuela and Jason, Chuck, Josh, Tim and Stephen Day; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cheney Funeral Chapel will be in charge of arrangements.
