Beverly L. Swanson passed away with her family by her side in her home of 50 years on Jan. 30, 2012, after a bout with pancreatic cancer.
She graduated from Deer Park High School in 1952 and always considered Deer Park her home.
She loved quilting, gardening, scrapbooking, genealogy and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mabel Waseca; and two brothers, Frank and Jimmy Waseca.

Olive M. Lenz, 87

Olive Marie Lenz, 87, passed away on Jan.30, 2012. She will be missed immensely by her family and friends because she was such a great person, wonderful mother, and loving grandmother.
Olive had seven children, all living and doing well and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Olive was born on Oct. 28, 1924, in Culbertson, Mont., and was raised in Montana with her three siblings. She was an excellent student and graduated from Plains High School.

George R. Ott, 69

A memorial service will held at 3 p.m. on Feb. 3 at Spokane Valley United Methodist Church, N115 Raymond Road, for former Deer Park resident George R. “Dick” Ott, 69, who passed away on Jan. 29, 2012, in Spokane.
Born in Pasco and raised in Deer Park, he graduated from Deer Park High School in 1960 and later attended Spokane Community College. He spent four years in the US Army.
Possessing a lifelong love of agriculture, he spent his entire career selling fertilizer for Inland Farmers (19 years) and later for Greenacres Gypsum (20-plus years).
